AllSchoolStuff opens 1st online retail store in India for educational supplies

AllSchoolStuff.com, an online retailer for all school, learning, and educational needs, has opened its first online retail store in India. The portal offers over 10,000 educational items such as books, stationary, art and craft materials, school bags, water bottles, uniforms, shoes, sports items, music instruments, science projects, fancy dress costumes, class furniture, recognition medals, and science kits.

AllSchoolStuff.com will offer a variety of educational supplies not only for students but also for parents, teachers, and schools to choose from. Targeting the K-12 school segment, the e-commerce portal aims to tap the rapidly growing educational supplies market in India which is currently estimated over US$ 5 bn and expected to grow at a rate of 20 percent every year.

Commenting on the occasion, Manoj Chandra, Founder and CEO, AllSchoolStuff.com, said: “The store was born out of a parent’s need to meet all their children’s educational needs in a convenient and easy manner from a single store, as also to access the best and latest learning tools for his children.” 

He further stated: “India is the largest education market in the world with over 1 mn schools and over 450 mn school-going children. With AllSchoolStuff.com, our objective is to facilitate the easy access of educational products to millions of students and their parents, who do not have convenient access to the latest and appropriate educational and learning products.”

All the products have been categorized according to specific age, subject, and class. The company also offers a free home-delivery service. Pre-school products such as educational toys, activity sets, flash cards, picture books, puzzles, shapes, abacus, etc. will also be available at the online store. Schools can also build their own library having access to thousands of books. 

Jointly started by Manoj Chandra, an experienced retail professional with over 20-year work experience and Bata India's ex-head for the marketing division, and AnkurGarg, an IIT graduate with over 10 years of experience in ecommerce business, the company also owns a warehouse and operates its own supply chain system.
