NEC becomes No 2 leading projector brand in India in Q2, 2011

NEC India Pvt. Ltd, a leading display, network and IT solutions provider, was the second leading projector brand in India in Q2, 2011, according to the latest industry report by Future Source Consulting, (a specialist research and knowledge-based consulting firm). According to the report, NEC India achieved an overall number three position in H1 of 2011, establishing itself as one of the most preferred projector brands in India with a strong focus on the education segment in India. 
 
According to this report, the Indian projector market grew 21% in H1, 2011 verses H1, 2010. The growth has essentially been fuelled by the growing demand from the education segment which constitutes nearly 45% of the overall projector market.
