Orissa: 32.43 pc students clear HSC supplementary exams

Cuttack: At least 18,188 more students of Odisha who either did not qualify or could not appear the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations held in March-April this year became Matriculates when the supplementary examination results were published here on Wednesday by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE). The supplementary examinations were held in August, 2011.
Out of a total of 57,638 students had appeared the examinations, 133 students passed in first division, 953 passed in second division and 14,969 students made it in third division.
The pass percentage this year was 32.43 which was a shed less than the previous year (34.90 per cent), BSE president Satyakam Mishra said. 

He informed that the results were made public in at least four other centers, including the head office of the Board here.
