Award for Shashikala Gurpur
Shashikala Gurpur, Director, Symbiosis Law School, Pune, who is also the member of the Law Commission of India, received the first Legal Education Innovation Award, 2011. The award is instituted by the Society of Indian Law Firms and the Menon Institute of Legal Advocacy Training to reward entrepreneurship and creativity among younger generation law teachers.
Rajiv Gandhi Shiromani Award for Rohera
Prakash Rohera, director of The Redwood Edge received the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Shiromani Award from the Citizens Integration Peace Society in New Delhi recently. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Shekhar Dutt, Governor of Chhattisgarh . The award was conferred on Rohera on the eve of the 67th birth anniversary of Late Rajiv Gandhi at a National Symposium on ‘Rajiv’s Role in Promoting National Integration’ . The award was presented to Rohera in the category of ‘Outstanding Individual Achievements & Distinguished Services to the Nation’.
