Archlight organizes three day annual exhibition – “WORLDDIDAC INDIA 2011”


Archlights Events pvt. Ltd. brought The WORLDDIDAC Association (WDA), the pioneers in creating Educational Trade shows across the globe to India. Archlights has organized a three day annual exhibition – “WORLDDIDAC INDIA 2011” and the conference “GLOBAL EDUCATION SKILL SUMMIT “from 28th to 30th September 2011 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India.

WORLDDIDAC INDIA 2011 is the only event in Indian Subcontinent which aims to bring together the entire education and training fraternity along-with all manufactures, suppliers, distributors, and solution providers under one roof.

The first day of the conference began with a welcome speech by  Dominic Savage, President, WORLDDIDAC Association and Director General, BESA , UK .  His rich expertise and vast experience in the education sector of UK has given him a vision to take education all together to a next level through innovative technologies and solutions to meet multifaceted education system across the globe.

On this occasion  Dominic Savage said “Over the years, Indian education industry has witnessed a mammoth growth. The industry has large number of players from both public and private sector and it's on a continuous boom. Today India has positioned itself as one of the favorite destinations for students from other parts of the world to join the esteemed educational institutions established here. 

Despite all this, there is a need of Integration of ICT and technology in both education and vocational education in India. The level of technology including ICT integration depends on availability, affordability and acceptability. Given the wide disparity between the rural, municipal and other government schools and the lower end and high end private schools India , a serious thought is required as how to take it to the next.”

The exhibition had leading education groups as participants such as HCL technologies, Hitachi, Texas instruments, Nexus Education to name a few. The exhibition also promises to give a glimpse of the most advanced and innovative education materials to help manage the institutions in a better, more effective & competitive manner and thus facilitate the continuous improvement of instructional teaching and learning development.    

Further to this  Aditya Gupta, Managing Director, India Didactics association shared his views “With the development of the economy there is a huge need and demand for upgrading the education system at par with the Global standards. There is also a requirement from making education more employable by imparting the correct skills to the youth. Understanding this importance in upgradation of the Education and Training Sector led Archilights to bring the world renowned event WORLDIDAC to India”.

The day witnessed the presence of dignitaries of Indian Education. WORLDDIDAC INDIA 2011 is an open platform to meet the leaders of the Education industry. It’s an event to meet face-to-face with exhibitors comprising both public universities and private higher educational institutions.
