Pre-nuptial inquiry reveals marksheet bluff

BHUBANESWAR: A premarital inquiry by a groom-to-be about a girl has landed the city-based Regional Institute of Education (RIE), a constituent of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) in trouble.
The would-be groom found that the girl got admission into the prestigious RIE by submitting a 'fake' marksheet. He lodged a complaint in this regard at the RIE.
The girl in question took admission in the two-year B.Ed course at RIE in 2009 after completing her graduation in science from a college affiliated to the North Orissa University in Baripada, according to the RIE authorities.
