Centre to train IT students comes up

Australian High Commissioner Peter Varghese inaugurated the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Pearson Vue Testing Centre on the campus of Centurion University here on Saturday. The centre aims to train IT, Computer Science and non-engineering students in hardware and computer networking. He called upon the faculty of the university to lay more stress on practical sessions to help students gain an edge in the job market.
�Centurion has partnered with University of Southern Queensland (USQ), a leading university of Australia, for development of education in both the varsities.
Envoy Meets Naveen:� Peter Varghese met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here on Friday.�� Varghese told mediapersons after the meeting that the discussions revolved around how to increase the cooperation between Australia and Orissa in the mineral and mining sector.
