To commemorate the birth anniversary of late Rajiv Gandhi, the Rajiv Gandhi Akshaya Urja Divas, the sports and youth services department organised a mini marathon here on Saturday.
After almost five years the marathon boy of the State Budhia Singh participated in the marathon, flagged by higher education and sports and youth services minister Badri Narayan Patra.
The marathon started from the Kalinga Stadium, touched Krusak Samaj, NICCO Park Chhak and ended at the beginning point.
As many as 780 students including 350 girls of 22 schools took part in the marathon.
