With foreign investments flowing into the eastern states also, Sodexo will expand operations that region in another 3-4 years, Brades said. It has 380,000 employees in 34,000 sites serving over 50 million consumers daily in 80 countries. The company is also known for its voucher business.Vouchers are used as employee reward or incentive by corporates as they provide tax benefits. However, the voucher business is just 5 per cent of Sodexo's total business and the rest 95 per cent comprises facilities management. "Going forward, we are looking at ways to integrate some of our programmes under facilities management with voucher business as an extension of our services in India," Brades said.
