International College of Financial Planning announces Special Scholarship Schemes for a career in finance

International College of Financial Planning (ICoFP), one of India's premier educational institute providing super specialized courses in financial planning has become one of the few private education institutes to offer scholarships. The scholarship will be available to 12 undergraduate students planning for post graduate studies at ICoFP.

Financial Planning is one of the fastest-growing professions across the world and has a huge demand- supply gap. In India, youngsters planning a career in financial planning have a bright future and can take advantage of many opportunities available across the banking, finance, insurance and allied industries. ICoFP is helping students to achieve the highest level of career readiness to successfully rub shoulders with the best in the financial industry.

"We are proud to announce the scholarship scheme to promote and nurture talent in our country. We believe in rewarding the hard work and excellence achieved by meritorious students in their academic endeavors. The scholarship has been initiated to encourage the talents of such students, thereby strengthening the roots of our future generation. Last year, some of the students were benefited with the scholarship scheme and got placed in some of the reputed companies too," says Vani Bajaj, Director, International College of Financial Planning.

The institute will offer scholarships on varied percentage based on the student's academic performance, performance at the interview at ICoFP and his/her financial condition. 50% of the course fees will give given as scholarship by ICoFP to a needy student if he / she has scored 65 % in graduation and over 75 % in the ICoFP interview. Similarly 75% of the course fee will be given as scholarship if a needy student is either a rank holder or have scored atleast 70% in graduation followed by over 80% score in the ICoFP interview.

Mr. Rajesh Bhojani, CEO of ICoFP says, "the intent behind the scholarship scheme is to provide a catalyst for the meritorious students thereby attracting young and talented students to pursue higher education. It is being increasingly observed that a lot of bright students could not pursue higher studies due to financial problem. To emerge as a powerful nation, there is an urgent need to bring in talented boys and girls in the fold of higher education by way of providing them good incentives in the form of scholarships."
