In order to celebrate 26 successful years in the field of education and to felicitate its meritorious students, the will host a glittering ceremony on June 24 at Science City. Celebrities such as actor Soumitra Chatterjee and veteran sportsperson P K Banerjee among others will honour students for outstanding academic achievements. After the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the felicitation of celebrities, a musical extravaganza and performances by guest artists would be the highlight of the evening. Students who have brought laurels to the schools and colleges of the Group will share their success stories with their peers.
The Techno India Group, which has a significant presence in the sphere of education in the state boasts of four universities, 15 engineering colleges, 10 business schools and 10 public schools spread across the city and its adjoining districts. The group has recently made a mark in imparting education in the field of technology.
