Orissa Regional KVS Principal Meet Kicks of at Bhubaneswar

A three day Regional Principals' Conference of the Bhubaneswar Region of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) encompassing 86 Kendriya Vidyalayas in Odisha and Jharkhand having about 40,000 students commenced here on Monday. 

The conference, an annual feature of the region, would review the performances of the Central Schools during the past year and set the guidelines for issues relating to academics, administration and accounts for the current year. 

At the inaugural session Assistant Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan R Kalabati, the head of the Bhubaneswar Region, advised the gathering of principals to ensure the best results by making the optimal use of the available resources and use of technology. 
She added that every single student is a gift to the KVS who must be nurtured with utmost care. 

The region's Education Officer (EO) SK Chopdar welcomed all participants and EO MVRK Sastry delivered the vote of thanks. The Music Club of Bhubaneswar KV-1 presented the welcome song and a group dance performance.
