HDFC Life Spell Bee, India Spells 2011, powered by The Times Of India in association with Everonn Education Limited and Flipkart .com, has come to its final stage where five students are ready to battle it out to become the National Spell Bee Champ for 2011 on Sunday.
Atmajyoti Mahapatra (Bhubaneshwar), Vaswati Das (Guwahati), Sohan Chowdhury (Kolkata), Rhea Rodrigues (Goa) and Kaavya Muralidhar (Hyderabad) have made it to the finale after a rigorous semifinal round hosted by Derek O'Brien . Around 3,00,000 students from Class VI to IX participated in the competition.
The five winners who made it to the grand finale will be awarded Rs 50,000 each while the national winner will win Rs 1 lakh from HDFC Life and a trip to Washington. Catch the finale on Ten Sports at 10am on Sunday.
