Orissa: SBI donates computers to Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan


Bhubaneswar: Under its Community Service Banking, the State Bank of India's, Local Head Office, Bhubaneswar has donated 16 computers to the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bhubaneswar Kendra.
The donated computers would be used by the Vidya Bhavan for imparting computer training and education free of cost to persons belonging to economically backward communities.
The programme was inaugurated on October 3 by Managing Director of SBI, Corporate Centre, Mumbai, A Krishna Kumar, the chief guest, who also addressed the students of the Bhavan.
CGM of SBI Bhubaneswar Circle CH Narasimha Rao was the guest of honour. 
Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bhubaneswar Kendra Major General BK Mahapatra lauded the support of the State Bank for the noble cause.
